Course Description

This intermediate-level furniture design course emphasizes a broader range of skills in design, construction, and craftsmanship.

Student Learning Outcomes

  • Demonstrate intermediate woodworking skills and techniques with an emphasis on furniture and three dimensional design.
  • Demonstrate and apply proper safety procedures using appropriate tools and machinery as it applies to a machine shop.
  • Apply critical thinking skills and problem solving skills associated with the formal design process.
