Health Sciences majors at °®¶¹´«Ã½ are selective and competitive programs that, mostly, require special requirements. Follow these steps to ensure a successful application.

How to Apply

1. Review Health Sciences Admission Requirements

Review your intended health sciences program, its admissions requirements and deadlines carefully. Some require specific completion of courses while others may require completion of CPR/Basic Life Support certificates. Learn about each program here.

2. Apply to °®¶¹´«Ã½

If you require a visa to study in the United States, submit the °®¶¹´«Ã½C International Application. 

The requires additional supporting documents. Review what supporting documents you need to prepare and upload them after you submit your international application.

After you are accepted to °®¶¹´«Ã½C as an international student, you will receive your °®¶¹´«Ã½C Student ID and I-20, which is required for your F-1 visa application. Then at that time, you can proceed to Step #3 below.

3. Apply to your °®¶¹´«Ã½C Health Sciences Program

If you meet the admission requirements of your intended Health Sciences Program, you can submit the respective Health Sciences Program application by its deadline. You will need your °®¶¹´«Ã½C Student ID as part of the Health Sciences application. View the different Health Sciences Program deadlines here.

3. Complete the Health Sciences Program Requirements at °®¶¹´«Ã½C

If you do not meet the admission requirements of your intended Health Sciences Program, you can complete your health sciences program’s requirements as a full-time international student at °®¶¹´«Ã½C. Continue with next steps in your New Student Checklist to register for classes and prepare for your arrival at °®¶¹´«Ã½C. 

Once you have completed the admission requirements for your intended Health Sciences Program as a °®¶¹´«Ã½C student, you can submit the Health Sciences program application later. 

Being admitted to °®¶¹´«Ã½C does not mean that you automatically qualify for admissions to your desired Health Sciences Program. Check the application deadlines for your Health Sciences Program carefully and follow the program’s admission process to complete your admissions.
