The Flexible Calendar Program is facilitated through the Chancellor’s Office. Participating colleges, of which °®¶¹´«Ã½C is one, select the number of Professional Development Days per academic year (°®¶¹´«Ã½C has opted for two Professional Development Days). Faculty at participating colleges are obligated to either attend their designated Professional Development Days or complete other professional learning activities in lieu of attending. The types of activities that qualify must be related to faculty, student, and instructional improvement. More specific details about the types of activities that quality can be found in °®¶¹´«Ã½C’s Flexible Calendar Program Guidelines.
Important to note, activities external to °®¶¹´«Ã½C can also count towards one’s flex obligation. If you complete an activity outside of °®¶¹´«Ã½C that you want to count towards your flex obligation, you will need to complete the external training form that is available on the .
